Our partner, NSPCC, is delivering training on Child Sexual Exploitation free of charge for social work professionals within the Teaching Partnership. Breakfast and refreshments will be served from 9am. The session begins at 9:30am and the outline is as follows:
- To consider the current National picture around Child Sexual Exploitation
- To discuss approaches that are helpful for young people experiencing sexual exploitation and consider the impact of trauma on young people and our approaches to work
- To explore evidence and evaluation around what works for young people experiencing (or at risk of) Child Sexual Exploitation
- To think about the language we use to describe young people who have experienced (or we believe are at risk of) sexual exploitation.
