Creative Therapist / CAMHS Practitioner (Band 6) – Part-Time, Fixed-Term (6 Months)Hours: 21.6 hours per weekLocation: Schools across Kingston with touchdown office space available at Moor Lane and Kingston GuildhallContract: Fixed-term for 6 months, with potential for reviewPlease note the salary advertised is full time equivalent and will be pro rataThis exciting role sits within the CAMHS Trailblazer Mental Health Support Teams (MHST) in Kingston, established in January 2022. The Kingston MHST team is comprised of four Educational Wellbeing Practitioners (EWPs), a CAMHS Creative Practitioner, a CAMHS Mental Health Clinician, and a part-time Clinical Lead. We are now looking to expand the team with a CAMHS Practitioner to further enhance our support to schools and young people.As a CAMHS Practitioner, you will work with a cluster of primary and secondary schools serving a combined population of 8,000 pupils. MHSTs partner closely with schools and cluster leads to promote a whole-school approach to mental health, guided by each cluster’s unique action plan.
