Paediatric Occupational Therapist

As a paediatric Occupational Therapist (OT) you will work in a range of settings to provide a high quality occupational therapy service and receive regular supervision and support from an experienced OT. You will have the opportunity to work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to support children and young people’s occupational therapy needs as appropriate.You will carry a caseload of children and young people with a variety of physical, learning and social needs and be responsible for writing reports for Educational Health and Care Plans (EHCP) and Multidisciplinary assessments/reviews. You will oversee and may supervise OTA’s/Technicians who are involved in working with children and young people on your caseload. You will participate in the staff professional development scheme and may contribute to the assessment of students on clinical placement.This is a NHS Band 5 equivalent, full-time, permanent role.
