Access the BASW website to get the updated PCF Domain Level Descriptors, for every stage of your social work journey and the capability levels for all 9 domains. There is guidance on using the PCF and information on the relationship between the PCF and KSS – Knowledge and Skills Statements.
For students and ASYE you can see the PCF level descriptors for the four pre-qualifying levels: point of entry, readiness of practice, end of first placement and end of last placement.
